BOTEJYU® Group TRADEMARK

TRADEMARK ORIGIN

屋号の由来
The origin of the name
BOTEJYU®︎ is the
“BOTE” and “JYU”
sounds that the OKONOMIYAKI
makes when it is turned over
and fried.
Our history began with the opening of a specialty Okonomiyaki restaurant in Osaka Tamade in 1946, during the post-war reconstruction period.

We were also the first to come up with Okonomiyaki topped with mayonnaise, as well as Modern-yaki.

In recent years, we have been diversifying our business by successively branding food culture and gastronomy based on the history of specific regions in Japan, including local foods and Ramen throughout the country.
We are also accelerating the opening of stores overseas, particularly in Asia.

The name "BOTEJYU®" was born from the sounds of making delicious Okonomiyaki.
The first part of the name, "BOTE", comes from the flipping sound of the okonomiyaki and the second part of the name, "JYU”, represents the sizzling sound as it cooks on the teppan grill. These sounds have been heard at our restaurants for more than 75 years.
We always value the flavor, aroma and taste that these sounds evoke.
